Narron et al. (Mishra Lab) publishes FLATS index for Landsat 8 data
Caroline Narron (UGA Geography Ph.D. Candidate, advised by Dr. Deepak Mishra) recently produced her first first-author publication entitled "Flooding in Landsat Across Tidal Systems (FLATS): An index for intermittent tidal filtering and frequency detection in salt marsh environments" which used PhenoCam and pressure transducer data from the GCE Flux Tower to create an index that distinguishes tidal flooding in Landsat 8 satellite imagery.
