Field Notes

Greetings from Sapelo! Over the past few weeks, field technicians John and Jonah have been working hard at post-Tropical Storm Nicole recovery and maintenance, including clearing wrack from PredEx plots and replacing ground control points for drone surveys in Belle Marsh that were lost to the storm. We also completed our quarterly cruise that had been delayed due to the storm conditions (see photos below). Additionally, here are some photos of Nannygoat Beach after the storm - notice that the stairs leading from the pavilion to the beach were washed away.
