Meet GCE intern Grace Gibbs
GCE intern Grace Gibbs is examining intertidal consumers on Sapelo. Working with Dr. Emlyn Resetarits and Dr. Shelby Ziegler, Grace is working on two different research projects focused on intertidal consumers. The first focuses on the effects of trematode parasites on mud snail consumption of benthic algae. The second examines how changing marsh edge geomorphology affects habitat use and predator-prey interactions of estuarine consumers.
