GCE AnnouncementResearch NewsWorking up the Altamaha The GCE program started with a focus on salt marshes, but we've gradually been extending our work up the Altamaha River to tidal fresh marshes and even tidal forests. This past week the Pennings lab was working on a disturbance experiment that included plots in Zizaniopsis (wild rice) stands that are mixed in with tidal forest well upstream of GCE site 11.
