Schoolyard teacher Jessica Cook awarded the Georgia Association for Gifted Children 2025 Gifted Program Teacher of the Year award
Schoolyard teacher Jessica Cook was awarded the Georgia Association for Gifted Children 2025 Gifted Program Teacher of the Year this month.
Jessica says: I want to express my gratitude to the GCE LTER Schoolyard Program once again. This program has allowed me to bring so many incredible ecology lessons into my classroom, and I am so thankful that these lessons are being recognized. One of my biggest implementations has been the Young Ecologists Exploring High Marsh Ecosystems project, which has been such a rewarding experience for both me and my students.
Thank you again for all the support and opportunities through this program!
