Educational modules on Wetland Science
Steve Pennings (GCE) and Darold Batzer (UGA) are editing a series of educational modules on wetland science that will be published in Wetland Science & Practice and publicly available on the Society of Wetland Scientists web site. The first two (Introduction to Wetlands, Wetland Function and Values) are now published and available (https://www.sws.org/education-modules-wetland-science/). Modules on plants, animals, community ecology, and biogeochemistry are close to done. A couple more are promised. We hope to have all the modules translated into other languages (Steve has been hitting up current and past students, and GCE collaborators, to do translations). If you have ideas for authors or topics of additional modules, or potential translators, please email Steve Pennings with your suggestions. Feel free to nominate yourself!
