Pennings and Angelini laboratories visit Cumberland Island

The Pennings and Angelini lab visited Cumberland Island to study the effects of horse grazing in the marsh, working in plots set up by Kate Davidson, a PhD student of John Griffin, who worked on Sapelo as a postdoc and is now a faculty member in England.  About 150 horses roam wild on the island and graze in the high marsh on Spartina.
