Abstract

This PDF file contains an annotated database schema image (entity-relationship diagram) for the file archive tables in the GCE Submissions Database (GCE_Submissions), as implemented using SQL Server 2000. The diagram lists all tables and attributes as well as attribute data types and foreign key relationships between tables. This database is used to manage the GCE document and imagery archive, which is cross-referenced to the GCE Bibliographic Database and GCE Taxonomic Database to provide integrated searching for public and private file resources. This database can be queried on the WWW at http://gce-lter.marsci.uga.edu/public/app/resource_search.asp.
