<title>Project Goals</title>
<para>The goal is to understand how communities of tidal freshwater plants respond to pulses of brackish water. Plants will be collected from the vicinity of the Saltex project and grown in mesocosms at UGAMI, and subjected to pulses of saline water (3 levels) for varying durations. Plants will be collected under the UGAMI permit.</para>
