GCE AnnouncementField Program NewsCreighton University Boat Transferred to GCE On July 21, 2025, Creighton University, represented by Dr. John Schalles, donated the RV Tiny Dancer to the GCE LTER. The Tiny Dancer, a 2003 Sundance B18 Skiff, has served Dr. Schalles well over the years, facilitating inland and coastal research in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi, Maryland, Delaware, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, and Indiana. A 2017 Mercury ELPT Command Thrust 4 stroke engine, and 2013 Magic Tilt aluminum trailer were included with the boat. The Tiny Dancer will allow the field crew to expand operations and is a welcome addition to the GCE fleet.
