GCE-LTER Physical Specimen CollectionsLittoraria, Geukensia and other molluscs from GCE sites 1-10 from years 2000 to 2023 are stored at UGAMI and can be made available to researchers upon request. We are in the process of gradually transferring these to the Grace Thomas Invertebrate Collections at the Georgia Museum of Natural History. Physical collections of GCE-LTER specimens in the Georgia Museum of Natural History can be found at this link. For access to other samples, please contact Steve Pennings. Data related to these collections can be found in data set INV-GCES-1610 - Long-term Mollusc Population Abundance and Size Data from the Georgia Coastal Ecosystems LTER Fall Marsh Monitoring Program. |
