AI survey from LTER Information Managers across the LTER Network

From the Network Office:
You are invited to participate in the Generative AI Experience and Professional Development Survey! This survey is being administered by the Office of Teaching and Learning and the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB).

The goal of this survey is to better understand ecologists' and environmental scientists’ experiences with generative AI. Your responses will inform the development of several "AI in Research" learning modules as part of an Environmental Data Science Innovation & Impact Lab (ESIIL) working group.

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey is entirely anonymous, and you will have the option to provide an email address at the end to enter a random draw for one of two $50 gift cards to Bookshop.org (an independent book dealer). The email address will not be associated with your survey response. We would be grateful if you would please forward this on to colleagues and communities who might be willing to participate in order to help us reach a broad audience. Please do not distribute on social media as we would like to avoid bots. We are collecting responses until August 17th. For any questions, please contact Nate Emery (nemery@ucsb.edu). UCSB IRB Approval# 1-26-0467
