Name: GCE Flux Tower Marsh

Location: Sapelo Island, Georgia

Description: Spartina alterniflora marsh on western Sapelo Island where the GCE-LTER Eddy Covariance Flux Tower is sited, bounded by the Duplin River and Barn Creek

Access Information: By boat (Ownership: Georgia DNR)

Vegetation: Dominated by Spartina alterniflora

Fauna:  Littoraria irrorata and Prokelisia marginata are abundant, and grasshoppers are frequently observed
