Name: Savannah River

Location: Savannah, Georgia, USA

Description: Savannah River transect used for hydrographic surveys by the Georgia Rivers LMER project. Vertical profiling stations are defined every 2km from the line of demarcation along an estimated Thalweg line running up the main river channel. A NOAA/NOS water level gauge is also deployed near Fort Pulaski within this site.

Access Information: By land or by boat from various public landings (Ownership: Public)
