Victor Thompson, Co-Investigator / Associate Professor![]() Research Emphasis:My research focuses on resilience in coupled socio-ecological systems. Specifically, I use archaeology to track changes in socio-political organization, resource use, and the environmental over the past 4000 years along the Georgia coast. My most recent work uses geophysical survey, ceramic analysis, and stable isotope analysis of shellfish to address issues related to the archaeology of complexity.
